Successful candidate must:

Here are the ideal qualifications for Field Service Technician.

Successful candidate must:

  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. Complete work as outlined in job package using CMMS, paper documentation and equipment procedures as required.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of millwright fundamentals on preventative and corrective maintenance. I.E. seals, bearings, alignment, balancing, etc…
  • Be skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to support precision maintenance work.
  • Early Identification of the need to perform maintenance work through observation, inspections, testing, and monitoring on a routine basis.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding to communicate problems discovered for completion of a quality notification for repairs.

Journeyman requirments:

  • NCCER or Union Journeymen license or 5+ years of experience in field execution of industrial Mechanical repairs.
  • 5+ years of mechanical aptitude skills and adequate industrial mechanical maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of related manufacturing facilities, refineries or machine shop equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, fabricating and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment and general industrial maintenance and reliability activities.
  • Ability to follow, interpret and act on written and verbal job instructions, and reports, technical manuals, and data.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers and precision instruments
  • Ability to calculate measurements used to repair and maintain general manufacturing equipment.

Here are the ideal qualifications for Estimator – Industrial Mechanical Services.

The Estimator will play a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and future customers by visiting customers’ sites and helping them identify the best maintenance or repair options for their needs. This person will need to be an experienced Millwright or Maintenance professional to accurately advise the customer and represent the company’s capabilities well. The Estimator will be responsible for scoping jobs, consulting with vendors and subcontractors for RFQ’s, putting together detailed job quotes for customers, and providing the Operations team with all details needed to execute the work. 

The ideal candidate would be someone who is looking to join a growing team and is willing and able to be flexible, keeping an open mind to change, as well as make value-adding suggestions and contributions to continuously improve business processes.

What You Will Do in Your Role:

  • Meet with customers at their facility to perform detailed job scoping that factors everything required to accurately quote and execute work. This includes identifying needed repairs or installation work on a large variety of industrial equipment, labor & part requirements to complete the needed service, rigging requirements, safety requirements, and accessibility.
  • Request quotes from necessary vendors and sub-contractors for job completion. This includes meeting sub-contractors at customers’ sites when necessary to walk-through job scope.
  • Put together detailed quotes including scope of work, exclusions/clarifications, and pricing for customer using ServiceTrade.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with customers by helping them identify the best maintenance or repair option for their situation, communicating the value of the services we can provide, and following up with all customers with non-approved quotes 2 weeks after submitting the bid.
  • Provide the Operations team with all details needed to execute work via Service Trade (i.e., job pictures, safety hazards identified, PPE requirements, tools required, etc.)
  • Identify cost trends to assist the Leadership Team in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
  • Works with the Sales & Marketing Director to review market potential and possibilities for bids which fit the company’s strategic goals.

Working Conditions:

  • Single office location
  • Day shift; Monday to Friday
  • Willing to travel to customer sites to perform job scoping and take offs in company provided vehicle.
  • Willing and able to work in a variety of work environments ranging from smock-up clean rooms to hot and dirty process plants.
  • Some sites may require climbing/descending stairs or ladders or accessing hard to reach equipment to perform accurate job scoping.
  • Must be willing to commute or relocate to the DFW, Texas area.
  • After training is complete, hybrid office/remote work may become available.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven Millwright or Industrial Maintenance experience (5+ years)
  • Experience in equipment setting, rigging, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience performing job scoping and take offs for industrial mechanical or millwright services (1+ years).
  • Experience reading drawings & blue prints.
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with customers, vendors, and members of the Operations Team.
  • Must be organized and able to manage time effectively, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and give effective feedback to Leadership Team regarding customer feedback or trends seen during estimating process.
  • Must be safety oriented and capable of identifying hazards and establishing a plan to mitigate risks during job scoping.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
